Dr. Kyle Miura DAOM, LAc, DiplOM

 

 

Kyle Miura is a doctor of Acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in California

(AC 12535). He also holds a National Diplomate in Oriental Medicine and Asian Bodywork (NCCAOM).

 
Dr. Miura has been a professor at the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College in Berkeley, and the University of Hawaii.

 

He holds a Doctorate in Neuromuscular Medicine from Five Branches University (San Jose) and Master degrees in Oriental Medicine from the Acupuncture and Integrative Medicine College (Berkeley), Public Health and Sociology (University of Hawaii), Counseling Psychology (Chaminade University), Theology (Pacific School of Religion), and a Bachelor degree in Molecular Biology (University of Maryland).

 

Dr. Miura has extensive clinical experience working with autoimmune diseases, arthritis, Lyme Disease, emotional / mental health, chronic pain, cancer, and HIV/AIDS.

 

He has volunteered his services at drug rehabilitation centers in East Oakland, and at Lifelong Medical Clinic in downtown for low-income families.

 

He has  also done advanced doctoral studies with pharmacologist and herbalist Dr. John Chen, Dr. Wei-Chieh Young of Taiwan, Dr. Xuemin Shi of Zheijiang, Ba Xian Gong temple monk (China) acupuncturist Michael Hamilton, and sensei Hajime Nakane of Kyoto, to refine a gentle, painless yet effective style of acupuncture.

 

 

Services and Rates


Initial office visit (new patients or returning patients over 1 year ago

Initial Assessment plus Integrative Holistic Acupuncture (85 minutes) - Focuses on promoting emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health. Session will be about 85 minutes with about 60 minutes with in-person time with Dr. Miura. $300.

Herbal / Dietary / Lifestyle Consultation (In-Person or Telehealth) (40 -55 minutes) Balancing and strengthening immune system promoting emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health. Gastro-intestinal, dermatological, pharmaceutical-herb interaction, haematological, OB/GYN. ($250-$300)

Integrative and Holistic Acupuncture (55 minutes).
Session will be about 55 minutes, and about 30 minutes In-person time with Dr. Miura.

Acupuncture for promoting emotional, mental, physical, and spiritual health; balancing the chakras and meridians. May include Medical Qigong, Reiki, Cupping, Guasha scraping, Electro Stem, Far Infrared Heat, Hydrocollator steam packs, Activator, Ultrasound. A customised session on your most relevant needs and based on your treatment plan. $200. ($25 extra for Medical Laser)
